MERCURY NASHVILLE artist LAUREN ALAINA has had to cancel performances for medical reasons. ALAINA won’t be able to perform as the opening act for MERCURY NASHVILLE duo SUGARLAND in CINCINNNATI TODAY (8/3) and in CLARKSTON, MI TOMORROW (8/4).

"My doctor is putting me on vocal rest," said ALAINA. "I'm really sorry to disappoint the fans who were coming to see me and my friends SUGARLAND who have helped me out on their tour. I will make it up to you and be back soon!"

VONDA SHEPARD will be filling in for ALAINA for the cancelled performances.
