Two New Editions Of "A Very Special Christmas," Announced Today

At a press conference today (8/6) in NASHVILLE, it was announced that there will be new editions of the ‘A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS,’ holiday music series, benefiting SPECIAL OLYMPICS.

The two albums to be released on OCTOBER 16th are titled “A Very Special Christmas 25th Anniversary,” on BIG MACHINE RECORDS and “A Very Special Christmas: Bringing Peace On Earth,” which will be released on WORD RECORDS.

Today’s press conference included SPECIAL OLYMPICS Chairman/CEO TIMOTHY B. SHRIVER, BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP President/CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA, WORD ENTERTAINMENT CEO ROD RILEY, SPECIAL OLYMPICS athlete and Global Messanger JIMMY CLARK, NASHVILLE MAYOR KARL DEAN, Contemporary Christian artist FRANCESCA BATTISTELLI, and members of the group TRAIN.

Artists included on the projects include VINCE GILL, AMY GRANT, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, THE BAND PERRY, JASON MRAZ, CHEAP TRICK, BIG DADDY WEAVE and many more.
