CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WHAS-A/LOUISVILLE weekend outdoors show host JIM STRADER has lost his suit against the KENTUCKY Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, reports the ASSOCIATED PRESS.
STRADER alleged that the department launched a competing show, "KENTUCKY AFIELD RADIO," in retaliation for his criticism of the agency's Telecheck system for tracking kills by hunters. The department pulled its support for STRADER's show and outdoors expo in 2009 after his criticism of the system.
U.S. District Court Judge DANNY C. REEVES wrote in his opinion that STRADER "does not even argue, much less offer proof, that his ability to make a living has been hindered by 'KENTUCKY AFIELD RADIO's' presence."
