CUMULUS Sports WLQR-A-F (106.5 THE TICKET)/TOLEDO is splitting its simulcast, with the AM side flipping to Talk as TALK RADIO 1470 on MONDAY (8/13). The entirely-syndicated weekday lineup will include CUMULUS MEDIA NETWORKS' own DON IMUS, GERALDO RIVERA, MIKE HUCKABEE, JOHN BATCHELOR, MARK LEVIN, and "RED EYE RADIO." The station will continue as an affiliate for DETROIT TIGERS baseball and BOWLING GREEN UNIVERSITY football and basketball.
CUMULUS TOLEDO VP/Market Manager MATT SPAULDING said, "TALK RADIO 1470 is promised to be this region’s foremost Talk Radio station delivering unbiased, balanced, and compelling content that listeners cannot get anywhere else. TALK RADIO 1470 will be a communicator to the audience we serve, not a dictator of opinions. TOLEDO deserves a better class of Talk Radio and CUMULUS MEDIA is going to give it to them.”
