Family Of Chris LeDoux To Accept His "Cowboy Keep Award"

Friends and family of the late CHRIS LEDOUX will be accepting the 2012 “Cowboy Keep Award” from the NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY on SATURDAY, AUGUST 18th in DOUGLAS, WY at the Governer’s VIP Ball. The NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY recognizes an individual who has contributed to the preservation of cowboy culture and pioneer heritage.

CHRIS LEDOUX’s legacy has also been honored through the 6th annual CHRIS LEDOUX SPURS AND SPIKES MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT, which was held on SATURDAY, JULY 7th in SHERIDAN, WYOMING. The CHRIS LEDOUX foundation also held the 2nd annual CHRIS LEDOUX DAYS in KAYCEE, WYOMING on SATURDAY, JUNE 16th, which is an event that included a riding event and live music.

“The FOUNDATION does great work,” said LEDOUX’s longtime guitar player and tour manager MARK SISSEL. “These events are growing every year so it’s definitely something to put on your calendar."
