SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO personality COUSIN BRUCIE, a.k.a. BRUCE MORROW, will be inducted into the NEW YORK STATE BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME during a ceremony to be held on JUNE 25th in LAKE GEORGE, NY.
“COUSIN BRUCIE MORROW is a certifiable icon not only in NEW YORK STATE but in the nation. He’s a one-of-a-kind extraordinary talent who’s been entertaining us for 6 decades,” said JOE REILLY, NYSBA President.
BROOKLYN-born BRUCE MORROW joined SIRIUS after spending over 20 years at WCBS-F/NEW YORK following that station's flip from Oldies to Adult Hits as "JACK-FM" last JUNE. Including previous on-air positions at legendary AM Top 40 powerhouses WINS and WABC, MORROW has been a mainstay of NEW YORK radio for more than 40 years.
MORROW also hosted the nationally syndicated CRUSIN' AMERICA radio program on the CBS RADIO NETWORK, and can regularly be seen on the PBS television series MY MUSIC. He has been inducted into the RADIO HALL OF FAME, the NAB HALL OF FAME, and the CABLE AND BROADCAST HALL OF FAME, and is included in the pioneering Rock radio DJ exhibit at the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM in CLEVELAND..
