Nashville Continues To Hold Music City Title

A recent study that includes BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS and U.S. BUREAU OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS figures, has concluded to determine the cities with the most active music scenes.
Measuring the concentration of musicians and music-related businesses, NASHVILLE has ranked #1 on the list for 2012. As mentioned in the report, “AMERICA’s one-time capital of Country music is now its music leader across the board.”
Cities that round out the top 10 (in order) are NEW YORK CITY, LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO, SEATTLE, LAS VEGAS, PORTLAND, NEW ORLEANS, ROCHESTER, NY and MINNEAPOLIS.
