MATT and CRAIG CLIZBE of CLIZBEATS.COM recently spoke with MARIAH CAREY and RANDY JACKSON, who will be judging on the coming season of "American Idol."

MARIAH discussed how her new single, "Triumphant (Get Em)," was inspired by WHITNEY HOUSTON's passing, and her husband NICK CANNON's recent health problems.

She also talked about how being pregnant with her twins reminded her to keep soul alive in music in the current Dance/Electro-Pop era.
