Trace Adkins Cancels Performance Due To Wildfires

SHOW DOG – UNIVERSAL MUSIC artist TRACE ADKINS was originally scheduled to perform at the SWIFTWATER CELLARS AMPITHEATER in CLE ELUM, WASHINGTON , TODAY (8/17). Due to the area wildfires which have already claimed 22,000 acres, ADKINS decided to cancel the show, encouraging the area residents to focus on their safety in a statement that he made on his website, www.TraceAdkins.com.

“With heartfelt concern for the residents of CLE ELUM, WA who are currently facing devastating wildfires, I cannot in good conscience stage a concert this FRIDAY while the community is under such strain,” posted ADKINS.

ADKINS personally faced the loss and devastation from a fire that claimed his own home last year (NET NEWS 6/6).
