John Rich Makes Series Debut On 'The Next'

JOHN RICH, one half of WARNER BROS. NASHVILLE duo BIG & RICH, along with JOE JONAS, GLORIA ESTEFAN and NELLY made their debut on the CW Series, “THE NEXT” THURDAY night (8/16).
The foursome traveled to ORLANDO, FLORIDA where they sought out local artists with established fan bases, who may just need an extra ‘nudge’ to achieve their potential stardom. Each celebrity mentor moved in with the contestants for 72 hours as they coached, mentored, and lived the routine daily lives of each hopeful.
JOHN RICH mentored MICHAEL RAY of ORLANDO. RAY who has already ranked #2 on REVERBNATION and sold out ORLANDO’s HOUSE OF BLUES four times performed ERIC CHURCH’s “SPRINGSTEEN” on THURSDAY’s episode. MICHAEL RAY won and will move on to the final episode where he will have the chance to win a recording contract with ATLANTIC RECORDS.
