CUMULUS Top 40 KKOB (93.3 KOB)/ALBUQUERQUE's "Morning Mayham" recently got some national coverage on CNN, as well as tons of local press, for their interview with Pres. OBAMA. Among the highlights from the Pres., was a rundown of some of the music on his iPOD.
"I've got a lot of old school R&B -- STEVIE WONDER, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, MARVIN GAYE. But I also got a bunch of contemporary stuff -- JAY-Z, BEYONCE, NAS. You name it."
The interview has also gone viral, with a YOUTUBE video passing 3 million hits you can view here.
And it's being turned into a GOP campaign ad. This is the preview.
Added promotion consultant, whack-of-all-trades, and ALL ACCESS "C.P.R." author PAIGE NIENABER, "You need to add FOX NEWS, THE DAILY MAIL, THE LA TIMES, ET, and pretty much every other news organization on planet earth to the tally of press. I've been doing this for 32 years. It was singularly the biggest press day ever for a station. It makes MANCOW and THE BAY BRIDGE look like a CUB SCOUT picnic."
