The filing docket for the FCC was light for TODAY (8/21), with the FCC database showing only filings for Silent STAs and extensions thereof.
Among the filings, CHRISTIAN FAITH CENTER OF THE VALLEY has applied for a Silent STA for KZAV/AVENAL, CA to resolve interference complaints.
GULF COAST BROADCASTING CO., INC. has filed for a Silent STA for WBZR-A/ROBERTSDALE, AL due to storm damage.
RADIO POWER INC. has requested a Silent STA extension for FM translator W250BN/WEST ALLIS, WI, the translator the company attempted to move into the MILWAUKEE market, while it addresses interference complaints from a listener of MERLIN Classic Rock WLUP/CHICAGO. The company has also requested an extension of its Silent STA for W276BH/BYHALIA, MS for economic reasons, and for W232CA/DETROIT for economic reasons as well.
And CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. is asking for a Silent STA for FM translator K218DF/CLE ELUM, WA after the station's transmission facility was destroyed in the forest fires that swept the area last week.
