Minnesota Public Radio Elects Kate Mortenson to Board of Trustees

MPR (MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO) TODAY (8/21) announced that KATE MORTENSON has been elected to MPR's board of trustees.
MORTENSON is a civic-engaged volunteer, community organizer and philanthropist bringing more than 20 years of non-profit leadership experience to her role as MPR board trustee.
As an independent consultant, she has advised nonprofit organizations on their program strategies and initiatives, including an effort to advance early childhood education policy in MINNESOTA. Prior to her independent consulting, MORTENSON was a Managing Editor for CONUS COMMUNICATIONS, a division of HUBBARD BROADCASTING. She has also served in the U.S. PEACE CORPS in the COMOROS ISLANDS.
MORTENSON has a B.S. in broadcast journalism from BOSTON UNIVERSITY.
