Futbol De Primera Inks Renewal To Air CONCACAF Gold Cup Soccer

The CONCACAF GOLD CUP soccer tournament will be heard again on FUTBOL DE PRIMERA in 2013 and 2015 under a new deal that makes FDP the exclusive Spanish-language radio broadcaster in the UNITED STATES of the biennial event. FDP has aired the tournament since 2007 and will air the games on over 100 stations. FDP Chairman ANDRES CANTOR will lead the play-by-play coverage for the games.

"With this partnership, it is our objective to promote the sport and cultivate the development of talent that inspires true passion for football by fostering excellence in the game. After the unprecedented success for our region at the Olympic Games, with gold medals for U.S. women and MEXICO men, as well as bronze for the Canadian women, it is CONCACAF's goal to create opportunities that showcase excellence in competition and display the unquestionable aptitude that is emerging from the region."
