Forbes Ranks Lady Gaga As Music's Most Powerful Woman

LADY GAGA has been ranked the 14th Most Powerful Woman by FORBES MAGAZINE in its annual ranking of the "World's 100 Most Powerful Women" list. MOTHER MONSTER was the highest ranking entertainer on the list this year.

GAGA was cited as earning her #14 spot because of her work with her own BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION, in addition to serving as the face of a number of other causes including the MAC AIDS FOUNDATION.

BEYONCÉ came in at #32. MTV.COM notes, "She just partnered with the U.N. to serve as the soundtrack for WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY earlier this month, and much like GAGA, in addition to her undeniable influence over music and fashion, she has also teamed up with a number of other good causes, including working with the OBAMA Administration on the 'Get Moving' campaign."

JENNIFER LOPEZ was ranked #38. She was applauded for her work with the BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA and her own fund, The LOPEZ FAMILY FOUNDATION, which helps women and children across the globe.

Also on this year's list is SHAKIRA at #40.
