ALL ACCESS sends a big thank-you out to CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KBIG (104.3 MYfm)/LOS ANGELES OM/PD ANDREW JEFFRIES and his staff, along with ATLANTIC RECORDS EVP/National Promotion ANDREA GANIS, VP/Adult Promotion DEB URBONT, and National Dir./Pop/Adult Promotion TIM DALBEC, who welcomed MATCHBOX TWENTY for an intimate acoustic performance at the legendary WHISKEY nightclub on the HOLLYWOOD SUNSET STRIP.
The private show was open to 104.3 MYfm contest winners and a few lucky media folks who got the chance to see MATCHBOX TWENTY singer ROB THOMAS and guitarist KYLE COOK perform stripped-down versions of their hit songs "She's So Mean," "3am," "Disease," "If You're Gone," "Bent," "Unwell" and a new song called "Overjoyed" from their forthcoming album "North," available TUESDAY (SEPTEMBER 4th).
MYfm morning show host VALENTINE interviewed the duo between songs and got the inside scoop on their writing process and some insight to the band's personal lives.
