  ALL ACCESS is saddened to report that JOHN BATTISON, the founder of the SOCIETY OF BROADCAST ENGINEERS, passed away this morning. Born SEPT. 11th, 1915.BATTISON was an Editor at BROADCAST ENGINEERING magazine, where he wrote an article that led to the formation of the SBE.
