ENTERCOM Sports KGMZ (95.7 THE GAME)/SAN FRANCISCO has named ESPN NBA reporter RIC BUCHER as BRANDON TIERNEY's new co-host for "THE DRIVE," the station's weekday 3-7p (PT) show. BUCHER, who will continue with ESPN as well, will start on THE GAME on SEPTEMBER 6th.
“RIC BUCHER's credentials in our industry speak for themselves and he’s instantly recognized locally and nationally for his great work with ESPN. BAY AREA sports fans are going to learn quickly that he's a 20 year BAY AREA native and his passion and knowledge for our local teams is outstanding,” said PD JASON BARRETT. “RIC and BRANDON TIERNEY will be an absolute must-listen during afternoon drive for BAY AREA sports fans.”
“I cut my reporting teeth covering BAY AREA sports and have lived here for most of the last 20 years so joining 95.7 THE GAME feels as if I’m coming home,” said BUCHER. “I’ve listened to and identified with the spirit and energy of the station from the day it started and I’m stoked about what’s building here and look forward to being a big part of it.”
