GLR Spanish Talk WSUA-A (RADIO CARACOL 1260 AM)/MIAMI will air UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI (FL) football play-by-play in Spanish this year in the first of a three-year deal, with coverage launching on SATURDAY. ROLY MARTIN, JOSE "CHAMBY" CAMPOS, and JOE MARTINEZ will call the games.
“The CANES are a symbol of our city, dear to the hearts of all SOUTH FLORIDA. We are thrilled to bring live coverage of all the excitement to all Hispanics in SOUTH FLORIDA . Partnerships like this, together with our daily top quality programing, are what have made our station leading Spanish News Talk station in the market“, said WSUA GM TOMAS MARTINEZ.
“RADIO CARACOL brings a strong listener base, deep local roots and expertise in promotions,” said HURRICANES Associate AD for Communications & Marketing CHRIS FREET. “We were looking for a more than just a radio partner; we needed a partner in the community. One that can help UM build relationships locally and create a stronger foothold in the Spanish market. We hope this three-year partnership is just the start of a long tradition.”
