TRITON DIGITAL has released its monthly Internet audio Top-20 Ranker for JULY 2012, and the top 10 Net kings were almost exactly the same as they were in JUNE. The only difference was that ENTERCOM jumped over ESPN to take the #9 spot.
At the top, PANDORA's Ave. Active Sessions were over five times larger than #2 CLEAR CHANNEL, while CLEAR CHANNEL's sessions were almost four times more than #3 CBS RADIO, which held a fairly modest lead over CUMULUS and SLACKER.
In the top 20, the biggest (and only other) chart riser was NPR (19-12), which set back RADIO ONE (12-14), EMMIS (14-15), HUBBARD (15-17) and SALEM (17-19).
The Ranker is a listing of the top-performing Internet audio stations and networks measured by the WEBCAST METRICS audience measurement platform. (The parenthesis lists the ranking of the entity in JUNE.)
