West Virginia Country WBGI To Switch Frequencies

KEYMARKET Country WBGI (BIGGIE 96.5)/ WHEELING, WV will change frequencies from current 96.5 to 100.5 on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th. This move will also affect sister station WYJK (JACK-FM), currently located at 100.5. On MONDAY’s (9/10) move, WYJK will position itself at 96.5.
 
These moves are in an effort to strengthen the signal power and reach of the cluster’s Country station. The move will give BIGGIE 96.5 a Class B signal, operating with 48KW at 152 meters, while JACK will have a Class A signal, operating with 2.5KW at 138 meters.
