Byron Harrell Named Dallas-Fort Worth Dir./Music Programming For CBS Radio

BYRON "RON" HARRELL has been named Dir./Music Programming for CBS RADIO/DALLAS-FORT WORTH's stations, effective SEPTEMBER 17th. HARRELL will serve as PD for AC KVIL (LITE 103.7), Classic Hits KLUV and will also provide strategic guidance for all CBS RADIO/DALLAS music brands. Most recently, he was PD for CUMULUS Hot AC WDVD, Adult Hits WDRQ and Talk WJR-A/DETROIT, and Regional OM for CUMULUS BROADCASTING's 47 stations in the MICHIGAN/NORTHWEST OHIO region.

"RON is uniquely qualified to lead the very talented teams at our music stations,” said Market Mgr. BRIAN PURDY. "He brings a wealth of creative ideas and a lot of energy to this position."
