THE ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION has named COX MEDIA GROUP Pres. DOUG FRANKLIN as its newest Honorary Trustee. FRANKLIN leads an integrated broadcasting, publishing, and digital media subsidiary of COX ENTERPRISES, INC., based in ATLANTA.

"Women, including many employed by CMG, have made an enormous impact on the media industry over the years," FRANKLIN said. "I’m honored to be associated with an organization that has as its core mission empowering women and driving positive change in all forms of media."

"The ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION’s Honorary Trustees are a key element of our FOUNDATION’s depth and strength," AWMF Board of Dirs. Chair KAY OLIN said.
