  CHICAGO PUBLIC MEDIA noncommercial News-Talk WBEZ/CHICAGO 2-4p host STEVE EDWARDS is exiting to join the UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO as Deputy Programming Dir. of the Institute of Politics, reports the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES.
  EDWARDS, a former WBEZ PD and Dir. of Content Development, will be working alongside OBAMA administration advisor DAVID AXELROD at the Institute
  EDWARDS will leave WBEZ's "THE AFTERNOON SHIFT" on SEPTEMBER 21st and will join the university in OCTOBER.
