Where some people use TWITTER to criticize businesses over poor customer service, GLENN BECK is using his radio show to take on AMERICAN AIRLINES over his treatment by a flight attendant he claims was rude to him on a flight from NEWARK to DALLAS MONDAY, and his complaints are receiving attention in the news media.
BECK has been claiming that a male flight attendant lavished attention on other passengers in First Class but ignored him, slammed an unopened can of soda on BECK's tray, and announced to other passengers that he was "so proud of the very liberal cities in AMERICA." He added that his wife, seated across the aisle, said that she did not notice the treatment, and the ASSOCIATED PRESS reports that AMERICAN is investigating the complaint.
AMERICAN has had experience with celebrity travel trouble before, notably a run-in with ALEC BALDWIN over his refusal to turn off his cell phone on a flight.
