The ACM (ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC) has announced that its ACM LIFTING LIVES ‘MY CAUSE’ feature for SEPTEMBER will be WARNER BROS./WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist HUNTER HAYES and the CHILD HUNGER ENDS HERE campaign.
Over the past two years, ACM LIFTING LIVES has donated more than $45,000 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.
This month, “MY CAUSE: CHILD HUNGER ENDS HERE,” highlights the campaign that is part of CONAGRA FOODS ongoing efforts to end child hunger in the U.S. To bring awareness to the issue, HAYES co-wrote an original song, “Here’s Hope,” which LITTLE BIG TOWN performed during the 47th ANNUAL ACM AWARDS.
In other HUNTER HAYES news, the busy artist is currently gearing up to tour with 19/ARISTA NASHVILLE artist CARRIE UNDERWOOD as she kicks off the NORTH AMERICAN leg of her “BLOWN AWAY” tour this FALL. TODAY (9/7) however, he will visit NEW ORLEANS to lend his voice to OCHSNER HEALTH SYSTEM’s 7th annual Pediatric fundraiser benefit “BACK DOWN SOUTH.” During this weekend’s trip, he will visit with children in the OCHSNER PEDIATRICS DEPARTMENT, as well as celebrate his 21st birthday performing the NATIONAL ANTHEM for the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS game on SUNDAY (9/9).
