CC Launches New HD2 Channels In Twin Cities

CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO MINNEAPOLIS has launced an assortment of new formats on the HD2 channels of its five FM stations in the market.
Top 40 KDWB will feature a Dance music channel dubbed the "Party Zone," while sister FM Talker KTLK will carry a Classic Country format, "The Wolf." Country outley KEEY (K102) is running a New Country format, "K102 New" on its HD2 channel, while Oldies KQQL (KOOL 108) launches 80s-formatted "KOOL One-Oh-Eighties," and Triple A KTCZ (CITIES 97) rolls out Acoustic AOR "STUDIO HD2."
"I am pleased that KDWB will be bring its ratings-successful, hugely popular FRIDAY and SATURDAY night show "The Party Zone" to KDWB's HD2 channel,” said KDWB PD ROB MORRIS. The show featuers Mainstream Dance hits and remixes.
KTCZ PD and CLEAR CHANNEL National Triple A Format Brand Manager LAUREN MACLEASH said, “We've taken the essence of the massively popular 'Acoustic Sunrise' program on CITIES 97 and expanded it to include more singer songwriters from then and now, plus added a touch of chill music. We’ve opened the vault to the hundreds of Studio C performances in our archives. CITIES 97's STUDIO HD is unique, acoustic and eclectic."
