Tim Leary Completes First Ever 5-K For Good Cause

Congrats to TRIAD BROADCASTING Country WUBB (BOB 106.9)/SAVANNAH, GA morning personality TIM LEARY on running his very first 5-K in 26 minutes and 24 seconds. The 3rd ANNUAL POOLER 5K was a benefit for the WARRIOR TRANSITION UNIT at FT. STEWART.

“I never thought I’d ever participate in any race, and I’ve certainly never timed myself,” said LEARY. “There are a ton of in shape, fast, awesome looking runners out here. When I run I look like a pile of JELLO having a muscle spasm.” The event drew over 600 runners and raised over $20,000 for the WARRIOR TRANSITION UNIT.
