The FCC has granted BMP AUSTIN LICENSE COMPANY, L.P.'s application to change the communities of license of Contemporary Christian KVLR (K-LOVE, formerly Spanish Sports KXXS)/ELGIN, TX (since sold to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUDATION) to SUNSET VALLEY, TX and Sports KWNX-A (ESPN 1260 THE HORN)/TAYLOR, TX (recently sold to TOTAL AUSTIN SPORTS RADIO) to ELGIN.
MUNBILLA FORT HOOD, LTD. had objected to the moves, which were designed to allow KVLR to move into the AUSTIN market while using the AM as "back fill" to maintain a station licensed to ELGIN, but the Commission noted that MUNBILLA's objection was rendered moot when that company sold the stations with which the moves conflicted and the new owner decided not to pursue the changes that would have been in conflict with the KVLR move.
