KISW is Experienced With Hendrix

On the eve of what would have been JIMI HENDRIX's 70th birthday, ENTERCOM Active Rock KISW/SEATTLE has announced an exclusive partnership with EXPERIENCE HENDRIX, L.L.C. and the JIMI HENDRIX PARK FOUNDATION. In commemoration of this new partnership, KISW and the JIMI HENDRIX PARK FOUNDATION have created a limited edition JIMI HENDRIX/KISW "I Am Experienced" T-shirt that will be sold exclusively at THE ROCK SHOP at KISW.com.

Net proceeds of the sale of the T-shirt will benefit the development of the new JIMI HENDRIX PARK in SEATTLE, and go towards the Foundation's $2.1 million fundraising goal. "JIMI HENDRIX has been a part of the fabric of KISW for the last 42 years," said DAVE RICHARDS VP/Programming of ENTERCOM/SEATTLE. "It's a natural fit for us to support the JIMI HENDRIX PARK to help carry on his legacy here in SEATTLE."
