COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR’s (CRS) inaugural “Battle of the Bands” event has been scheduled for THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th from 6-9p (CT) at 3rd & LINDSLEY. The event will raise money for the CRS Scholarship fund and THE COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME.

The event will be comprised of employees from various NASHVILLE record labels, including BROKEN BOW RECORDS, CAPITOL NASHVILLE, SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE, UMG NASHVILLE and WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE. Each company’s employees will put together a band, and select an “Artist Coach” from the talent on their label. They will then compete to see which band wins the battle that evening. Artist coaches named at this point include COLUMBIA artist TYLER FARR for the SONY team and MERCURY artist LAURA BELL BUNDY who will be coaching the UMG team.
