WTIC Inks Deal To Continue As UConn Sports Flagship

UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTCUT football and men's and women's basketball will remain with CBS RADIO Talk WTIC-A/HARTFORD under a new multi-year deal between the station and rights holder UCONN-IMG SPORTS NETWORK. WTIC has been the HUSKIES' flagship for 20 years; IMG COLLEGE took over the broadcast rights management for the school this season. JOE D'AMBROSIO will return to call football and men's basketball, with WAYNE NORMAN as analyst. KEVIN NATHAN will serve as sideline reporter and BOB JOYCE as pre- and post-game host for football, and JOYCE will call women's basketball as well.

"We look forward to the continued tradition of serving the 2.5 million listeners who tune in to our broadcasts of the UCONN football and men's and women's basketball games."
