After six years, CCM+E Top 40 WKSS (KISS 95.7)/HARTFORD and Top 40 WKCI (KC101)/NEW HAVEN PD STAN PRIEST is headed to sister Top 40 WIOQ (Q102)/PHILADELPHIA. In his new role, PRIEST will also handle digital programming responsibilitIes for the PHILLY stations. He begins OCTOBER 8th.
PRIEST's past experience includes PD at WSTO/EVANSVILLE, and MD at WFLZ/TAMPA and he replaces TIM HERBSTER, who was recently named VP/Special Program Projects for CCM+E's National Programming Platforms, (NET NEWS 8/9).
STAN PRIEST told ALL ACCESS, "While it's never easy to say goodbye to your friends and loved ones like I've made here in CONNECTICUT, all of them are extremely supportive of my move to WIOQ. This change represents a huge step in my career. When I got the call from OM BRIAN CHECK and President/Market Mgr. DENNIS LAMME, I think I stopped breathing for a minute, and am still not sure I've taken a full breath yet.
"This is such an honor to be part of a world class team of creative broadcasters and digital ninjas such as the group that TIM HERBSTER and his staff at CLEAR CHANNEL/PHILADELPHIA have assembled. I'm very pumped up to begin at Q102, and have my first official PHILLY Cheesesteak."
CCM+E OM BRIAN CHECK said, "STAN's knowledge of our competitive market will be a great asset to our team. He is the perfect leader to continue Q102’s growth and success through both our on-air and digital platforms."
HERBSTER added, "I couldn't be more confident in handing STAN the keys to the Q102 castle. He's a G-SELECTOR Wiz, digital winner, and an all-out competitive beast!"
