Sheftic Replaces Brown In Myrtle Beach

Long-time industry vet JOHN SHEFTIC returns to MYRTLE BEACH, SC as Market Mgr. of NEXTMEDIA -- Alternative WKZQ and Hot AC WMYB (STAR 92.1), Talk WRNN-A/F, and Classic Rock WYAV (WAVE 104.1). He replaces BARRY BROWN, who left to take the SAGA/ASHEVILLE, NC Market Mgr. post (NET NEWS 7/25).

SHEFTIC was previously GM at crosstown CUMULUS before being promoted to Market Manager of the company's MACON, GA cluster. He most recently held the same post at POWELL BROADCASTING/PANAMA CITY, FL,
