Jamey Johnson To Join Jessi Colter For Benefit Concert

MERCURY NASHVILLE artist JAMEY JOHNSON will pair up with JESSI COLTER on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th for a concert to benefit the TRANSLATIONAL GENOMICS RESEARCH INSTITUTE and JOHN HOPKINS UNIVERSITY’s Multidisciplinary Pancreatic Cyst Program.
The event will take place in NORMANDY, TN at RIVER CAFÉ, owned by NIKKI MITCHELL. MITCHELL worked with COLTER’s late husband, WAYLON JENNINGS, and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2010. Additionally, the disease claimed the life of HANK COCHRAN in 2010. As reported by ALL ACCESS (NET NEWS 8/31), JAMEY JOHNSON is set to release a tribute album to COCHRAN on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16th.
