Ricky Skaggs To Receive Pioneer Award At ACM Honors

Country legend RICKY SKAGGS is being honored at the 6th annual ACM HONORS ceremony on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM. SKAGGS is being awarded with the prestigious “ACM CLIFFIE STONE Pioneer Award” which is given to true pioneers of the music genre. Other recipients of the award this year include EMMYLOU HARRIS, DWIGHT YOAKAM and BILLY SHERRILL.

"I'm very honored to receive the ACM ‘CLIFFIE STONE Pioneer Award’ this year,” said SKAGGS. “It means a lot to an artist to be recognized for their work. I very much appreciate this award."
