Dave Matthews Band Reaches New Sales Milestone

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND reached a new sales milestone in BILLBOARD this week (9/18).

The band’s new album Away From The World sold 266,000 copies the first week, making it one of the highest selling debuts of the year and entered at the top pf the BILLBOARD Top 200.   The album's #1 debut gives them the record for most consecutive #1 albums for a group at six, beating out METALLICA!

The band is also the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade and has sold over 17 million tickets since its inception.
