Last week (NET NEWS 9/10), ALL ACCESS tipped you that MICHAEL PARRISH and MIKE BACON left FMQB. PARRISH, the former VP/Operations and BACON, Sr. Director/Modern Rock told us they would announce their new plans soon.
And so they have! PARRISH and BACON have formed MX2 MEDIA, a full service production and marketing company. MX2 MEDIA will "facilitate a portfolio of custom B2B creative services for established and up and coming artists alike, targeted to the music and radio industries, as well as consumer initiatives through syndicated radio content, music marketing campaigns, website content, and social media networks."
"It's our goal to continue serving artist needs and building community within radio," stated PARRISH. "Music discovery is a passion of mine and I've always believed in the power of radio as the best source for unearthing and giving rise to new music. To be able to branch out with my partner, MIKE BACON, and launch our own company that taps into these long held ideals is exciting and a challenge we have long been ready for."
"With MX2, MICHAEL PARRISH and I will have the ability to connect dots far and wide across a broader spectrum of the entertainment industry, and continue to refine and re-define services we've provided to the music industry for nearly 20 years together," said BACON. "Evolution and adaptation is paramount to success in this business, and we're both excited about the challenges that lie ahead."
