Taylor Swift To Preview Songs Before 'Red' Release And Participate In Live Classroom Webchat

BIG MACHINE RECORDS artist TAYLOR SWIFT will be bringing a lot of attention to her upcoming album, due out on MONDAY, OCTOBER 22nd, in the weeks to come. SWIFT will be revealing one song each week to her fans for the next four weeks up until the release of her album, beginning this MONDAY (9/24).
Each MONDAY, SWIFT will be previewing 30-seconds of that week’s song on ABC-TV’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA, along with a personal introduction by TAYLOR herself. At MIDNIGHT going into every TUESDAY, the song will be available on iTUNES to be bought by fans.
SWIFT’s current single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which was revealed on MONDAY, AUGUST 13th, has spent three weeks at #1 on BILLBOARD’s Hot 100 chart and was #1 on iTUNES in 32 countries.
Additionally, two days after the album’s release, SWIFT will participate in a live classroom webchat on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24th. The event is expected to be seen by 2 million students across the UNITED STATES.
Sponsored by SCHOLASTIC, the 30 minute event will feature TAYLOR will talk about how literature has inspired her writing. She will also answer student’s questions, and perform a song off of “Red.”
