KPLZ's Leonard Barokas Takes Flight For Cancer Awareness

In recognition of BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, FISHER RADIO Hot AC KPLZ (STAR 101.5)/SEATTLE APD/morning show producer LEONARD BAROKAS will take to the skies for his 12th annual flight of "BRAS ACROSS LAKE WASHINGTON" on MONDAY morning (SEPTEMBER 24th).

BAROKAS will parasail across LAKE WASHINGTON for 45-50 minutes flying by I-90 and 520 with a tow line that includes bras donated by listeners to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer.

As part of this breast cancer awareness campaign, STAR 101.5 is sponsoring the "DO THE PUYALLUP WALK TO BEAT BREAST CANCER WALK" this SATURDAY morning (SEPTEMBER 22nd) to raise awareness and money for the SEATTLE CANCER CARE ALLIANCE’s BREAST CANCER PROGRAM.

After the flight, all the bras collected will be donated to the local YWCA WOMEN's SHELTER.
