Tedi Thurman Dies; Was 'Miss Monitor' On NBC Radio Show

Condolences to family and friends of THEODORA "TEDI" THURMAN, who served as the sultry, weather report-reading "Miss Monitor" on NBC's national radio show "MONITOR" in the late 1950s and early 1960s. THURMAN died last MONDAY at 89 in PALM SPRINGS, CA.

THURMAN, an model, became a familiar voice on the radio in 1957-61 while delivering hourly weather reports on "MONITOR."  She also made several TV and film appearances, including on the "JACK PAAR SHOW" and in ED WOOD's film "JAIL BAIT" in 1954.
