  REUTERS is reporting that TRIBUNE CO. is courting former FOX executive PETER LIGUORI to be its new CEO as the company emerges from bankruptcy.
  The wire service cites two unnamed sources "close to the situation" as saying LIGUORI, more recently at DISCOVERY COMMUNICATIONS INC. and now an advisor at CARLYLE GROUP, LP and director at YAHOO!, is in "late-stage discussions" to run the embattled TRIBUNE, which counts Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO as its only radio holding.
