Miami And Detroit Flip Market Rankings In New Arbitron Fall Survey

ARBITRON has released new market rankings for the FALL ratings period. There were no new markets added to the top 100, however the update did change some rankings, most notably DETROIT changing positions with MIAMI. The SOUTH FLORIDA metro gained 110,200 in population, and moved MIAMI from #12 to #11, ahead of MOTOWN, which lost 28,200 persons.

RALEIGH moves up from 43 to 42
PROVIDENCE drops from 42 to 43
OKLAHOMA CITY is now 49
JACKSONVILLE is now 50
MONTEREY moves up from 86 to 83
STOCKTON moves up from 88 to 85
GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE, NC is down from 83 to 86
GAINESVILLE drops from 85 to 89
COLORADO SPRINGS rises from 93 to 91
