CBS RADIO Oldies WOGL and Sports WIP-A-F/PHILADELPHIA raised over $881,000 in recent radiothons for two charities.
The "98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon" raised $658,272 in two days for the CHILDREN'S MIRACLES NETWORK at the CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA. Meanwhile, WIP's "EYP/City Year EAGLES Radiothon" raised $223,150 in two days for EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP and CITY YEAR GREATER PHILADELPHIA.
“We get to see first-hand the impact our radio stations have on the community,” said SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD. ”We are local business operators who feel it’s our duty to support fine organizations like CHOP and the EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP. Like many, our families have been the beneficiaries of the services they provide, and we are very fortunate to have them in our backyard.”
