SACRAMENTO's CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO is partnering with MY BROKER DONATES to allow home buyers to make donations to the public radio group using the broker referral fee. MY BROKER DONATES, headed by JACK MCLAUGHLIN, is a service that matches real estate agents with buyers and sellers and donates the referral fee to a non-profit group selected by the buyer or seller with no cost. The arrangement has CPR airing four rotating underwriting spots for MY BROKER DONATES and including the latter in emails to listeners.
"CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO is always looking for ways to serve its listeners and to find new funding sources that support our award-winning programming. Our partnership with MY BROKER DONATES does both. I encourage our listeners to contact MY BROKER DONATES: They'll get connected with real estate agents whose experience perfectly matches their needs. And CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO will get a big donation at zero cost to our supporters," said CPR Dir. of Development ARLA GIBSON.
"We're delighted to be partnering with CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO to increase awareness of MY BROKER DONATES among their donor base and listeners. MY BROKER DONATES provides a win-win-win approach to supporting non-profits and building communities. Home buyers/sellers have a free service that helps them find the Realtor that's just right for their needs -- and make a large donation to the non-profit of their choice at no cost to them. Non-profits have a new way to drive donations that provides donors with a valuable and timely service -- especially during these economically-challenged times. And, finally, reputable agents with a solid track record and demonstrated community involvement gain qualified leads for the cost of a standard referral fee,"said MCLAUGHLIN.
