THE WOMBATS have announced the lucky winner of their TWITTER contest. A CHARLOTTE fan, JAYNA DOYLE and her friends crushed the competition by collecting the most votes in their region by vigorously tweeting ‘to vote’ for their city. JAYNA's dedication, earned her an exciting opportunity to have an exclusive party with the LIVERPOOL trio, THE WOMBATS, this past MONDAY (9/24) when the band was in CHARLOTTE to play at the VISULITE THEATRE.

In anticipation of their 32-date U.S. tour last month, THE WOMBATS launched a nationwide TWITTER contest in order to meet as many fans as possible and connect with one special individual. Fans all over the country had the chance of a lifetime to vote for their own town/city to win a private show with THE WOMBATS by selecting their city from a special interactive map on the band’s website, and then tweet to win the opportunity for the band to show up in their living room.
