  American Music Awards
  
  The 40th AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS will air on ABC-TV on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18th at 7p (CT). They will be broadcast live from the NOKIA THEATER in LOS ANGELES.
  In addition to awards being given in the categories of Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Pop/Rock, Latin, Country, Alternative, Adult Contemporary and Contemporary Inspirational, the show will also be celebrating its 40th anniversary with various events, montages and special features.
  The nominees for this year’s AMA’s will be announced on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9th.
