Taylor Swift To Play Joni Mitchell In New Film

VARIETY is reporting that BIG MACHINE RECORDS artist TAYLOR SWIFT has been tapped to play music icon JONI MITCHELL in an upcoming movie based on the book, “Girls Like Us.” 

The movie (and book) chronicle the lives of MITCHELL, CARLY SIMON and CAROLE KING. It examines their influence on female musicians of today. Casting is ongoing for the remaining two roles of SIMON and KING.
