As ALL ACCESS reported on FRIDAY (NET NEWS 9/28), CBS RADIO Country KILT/HOUSTON afternoon personality STEVE RIXX has exited.
KILT PD MARK ADAMS tells ALL ACCESS that he is now looking for his next ‘afternoon star.’ According to the job posting, “Country format experience is not necessary; though appreciating the music and understanding the life group is. As a matter of fact, if you happen to be killing it in Top 40 or Hot AC we’d be just as, if not even more, excited to hear your work. We need a major personality who can break through and connect and move the meters. Our preferred candidate will possess a successful track record, possesses superior on-air skills with a demonstrative ability to create thoroughly prepped and perfectly executed PPM tailored content, know how to drive social media and web metrics, and be prepared to take over and own drive time in the 4th largest city in the country.”
