NPR News Sets Debate Coverage

NPR NEWS has set its live on-air and online coverage of the three Presidential debates on OCTOBER 3rd, 16th and 22nd and the Vice Presidential debate on OCTOBER 11th. Coverage of each debate begins at 9p (ET), followed by post-debate round-up and analysis from 10:30 to 11p (ET). In addition, NPR.org will post fact-checks from its Election and WASHINGTON teams, chats and blogging along with a live stream.
"ALL THINGS CONSIDERED" hosts GUY RAZ and AUDIE CORNISH will host the broadcast specials, with Senior Washington Editor RON ELVING and contributors E.J. DIONNE and MATT CONTINETTI handling analysis and WHITE HOUSE correspondents ARI SHAPIRO and SCOTT HORSLEY reporting from the Presidential debates in DENVER, HEMPSTEAD, and BOCA RATON and National Desk correspondent DEBBIE ELLIOTT and WASHINGTON Desk correspondent BRIAN NAYLOR at the Vice Presidential debate in DANVILLE, KY. National Political Correspondents DON GONYEA and MARA LIASSON will be on hand reporting from the debates as well.
Debate coverage will also appear on other NPR NEWS shows, including “Solve This,” a multi-week series looking at the candidates' solutions to major issues.
